Tom Brady is chasing a fifth Super Bowl title in Houston
Umenyiora has twice overcome the Patriots at the highest level, winning both of his Super Bowl rings against Brady’s outfit.
But the former New York Giants defensive end does believe that the 39-year-old has benefitted from the presence of head coach Bill Belichick.
“Tom Brady is playing for the greatest coach of all time,” Umenyiora told Express Sport.
“I’m a firm believer in that.
“I think he’s an outstanding quarterback.
“But my only problem is I don’t know how successful he would be if he wasn’t playing for that Patriots team and if he wasn’t being coached by Bill Belichick.
“So I don’t know if he’s the greatest but he’s definitely up there.”
Belichick is going for his seventh Super Bowl title as a coach and fifth as a head coach.
And while Matt Ryan’s Atlanta Falcons are expected to go toe-to-toe on offence with Brady, Umenyiora thinks that coaching will play a huge role in the style of the game.

Chris Martin, Beyonce and Bruno Mars made a perfect combinaition and did not disappoint the huge crowd at the Super Bowl
“I don’t think it will be a shootout,” added Umenyiora.
“Belichick won’t allow Atlanta to score 40 points so that’s not going to happen.
“The Atlanta defence has been playing really well throughout the playoffs.

“That’s a hot defence.
“So I think it’s going to be a mid-level scoring game but I’m not 100 per cent sure about the winner.”
