For months, the stars of the show have refused to share any spoilers but now David Harbour, who plays Chief of Police Jim Hopper, has revealed four interesting new details.
The actor admitted that the second series would be set two years after the final instalment of season one.
He spilled: "It's a year later in the story, so there are several things that happened last year, like Will has come back."
David went on to add that there is friction in the town of Hawkins, Indiana following Will's disappearance as only a select few know the truth.

American supernatural horror series Stranger Things is is set in 1983 Indiana, when a young boy vanished into thin air. It pays homage to the classic 80's genre.

"There are certain people in the town that know what happened, and then certain people that don't know what happened," he told Hollywood Life. "So there's a lot of fall out with that."
And, while showrunners, Matt and Ross Duffer, have previously stated that they will acknowledge Barb's death, the 41-year-old American said her disappearance will have a profound affect on her best friend.
He explained: "The question and the feelings that Nancy, played by Natalia Dyer, has that no one ever cares about her friend Barb, are very much present in the beginning of the season."
But, perhaps the most interesting spoiler is that Will's mum Joyce (played by Winona Ryder), will have a new boyfriend, who will not be welcomed by David's character.

"Sean Astin," he noted. "He's Winona's new boyfriend – much to the chagrin to the Chief of Police."
It comes after it was revealed that Millie Bobby Brown would return as the much-loved Eleven in the hit Netflix series.
She was last seen sacrificing herself in the finale to kill the Demogorgon, but Hopper was last spotted leaving her a box of Eggos – her favourite snack – in the woods, suggesting she was very much alive.
Stranger Things is set to return to Netflix later this year.
