Steven Gerrard believes Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool have left themselves a lot to do in the title race

Fernando Llorente scored twice in four minutes after the break to put Swansea two up before Roberto Firmino bagged a brace to draw Liverpool level.

But Gylfi Sigurdsson scored from close range with 16 minutes left to give Swansea a 3-2 win.

Chelsea are now seven points clear of the Reds in the Premier League table with a game in hand.

How did the Liverpool players get on against Swansea?

A 10-point gap, if Chelsea win tomorrow, it's very difficult

Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard

And Gerrard believes Jurgen Klopp’s side now have a lot of work to do in the title race.

“It's going to be very difficult now,” Gerrard told BT Sport.

“They've left themselves a lot of work to do.

“A 10-point gap, if Chelsea win tomorrow, it's very difficult.

“When I played, when we got close the damaging results were against lower teams.

“That dressing room there will be stunned, you can tell by Jurgen Klopp's face.

“Before the game you could see they saw this as a three-point game.”
