Star Wars Battlefront 2 on PS4 and Xbox One
Star Wars Battlefront 2 gameplay details have been revealed ahead of the Xbox One and PS4 release date.
And it looks like EA has been listening to the fans, because a new report suggests that the game has much deeper combat mechanics.
According to the Battlefront Updates YouTube channel, the new game will have improved gunplay that's easy to pick up, but difficult to master.
Aiming down sights will be tweaked, while lightsaber battles will feel much improved.
Interestingly, single-player campaign details have also been revealed. The story will feature an element of player choice, as players presumably choose whether they follow the light or dark side.

It was recently confirmed that Star Wars Battlefront 2 will have a November 17 release date.
Furthermore, EA has said that the sequel won't have a season pass on PS4 and Xbox One.
Creative director Bernd Diemer told Mashable that the game definitely wouldn't have a season pass, as EA looks for a way to keep fans on a level playing field.
"I cannot talk about the specifics of this," he said, "but we have something different in mind that will allow you to play longer, be [more] invested in the game without having a fragmented community."
Fans of the original Battlefront found it difficult to find matches once new maps and modes were released as DLC, which is what influenced the decision to snub the season pass.

Diemer continued: "When we looked at the way Battlefront had evolved over its lifetime, with the DLC and everything, we decided, 'You know what? For this type of game, season passes are not the best thing.
"We need to [take it apart] and come up with something better."
