Stan Collymore – Liverpool should sign Manchester City outcast Joe Hart in the summer

Jurgen Klopp has swapped and changed between Simon Mignolet and Loris Karius between the sticks, but neither have convinced him enough to be his first choice at Liverpool.

The Reds were linked with a move for Hart, who was shipped out on loan to Italian side Torino, after being deemed surplus to requirements at Manchester City by Pep Guardiola.

Collymore sees Hart as the best candidate to join Liverpool and resolve their goalkeeping dilemma

Liverpool have won just one of their last 10 games since the turn of the year and find themselves 13 points adrift of Premier League leaders Chelsea after suffering their latest setback against Hull.

And Collymore thinks Klopp should bite the bullet in the summer and resolve his goalkeeping dilemma by bringing Hart to Anfield at the end of the season.

Liverpool fans are not happy with the club's owners FSG

“In the summer, Klopp needs to swallow his pride and get a top drawer keeper,” Collymore told BoyleSports.

“One with a presence who the fans and most importantly the back four can be confident of playing in front of.

“He must have the confidence of a champion and have a point to prove. Joe Hart anyone? Head and shoulders above the potential candidates for me.”
