Keith Gillespie (second R) has hospitalised an opponent during a charity match
The 42-year-old winger, who played nine times for Manchester United between 1993 and 1995, tangled with Dean Heffernan during a charity match against an Aussie Legends XI in Perth.
Gillespie appears to lash out at the defender during the fundraiser for the Dylan Tomides Foundation, chipping the 36-year-old full-back's teeth, damaging his jaw and causing memory loss.
The Northern Irishman has reportedly been told he will not feature for United in their next legends match against Barcelona.
