Fraser Forster pulls off an incredible save with Daniel Sturridge ready to pounce
A stoppage time goal from Shane Long proved to be the difference as Saints won 2-0 overall on aggregate.
Though Liverpool dominated possession, Saints put up a solid defensive performance to reach their first major final in six years.
Although Long was the match-winner, Forster produced heroics between the sticks and pulled off an incredible save.

After initially spilling the ball from an Emre Can effort in the second-half, Forster recovered quickly to palm the ball clear off the line with Daniel Sturridge ready to pounce.
But the Saints goalkeeper reckons he had a bit of the rub of the green.
Speaking about his role in the win, Forster said: "I thought I did enough to get there but the footballing gods were with me in the end.
"Luckily it didn't go in and we'll take that. We did enough in both legs, we created a lot of chances."
Southampton will now play the winner of Hull or Manchester United in the other semi-final tie tomorrow at the KCOM Stadium (8pm).
