Sony's PlayStation E3 2017 showcase will not include Shenmue 3
Today, the development team at Ys has confirmed that they will not be participating in E3 2017, although they didn’t rule any future game shows.
“We have been receiving questions from our backers regarding our plans to participate in upcoming game shows,” a development message posted on the game’s kickstarter reads.
“While our schedule has yet to be finalized, we will be devoting June to game development and as a result, will unfortunately not be participating in any game shows.
“On the other hand, we look forward to bringing you our monthly updates and hope you do too.”
Shenmue 3 was one of a range of surprise announcements at E3 2015, making up a special showcase for PlayStation.
