Sir Michael Caine believes Brexit has given Britain 'freedom'
As negotiations between the UK Government and EU officials are set to get underway, the 84-year-old star was optimistic about Britain’s future outside of the Brussels bloc.
He told Sky News: "I think it will be alright.
"I voted for Brexit… what it is with me, I'd rather be a poor master than a rich servant.
"It wasn't about the racism, immigrants or anything, it was about freedom."

He urged critics not to fear Britain’s future outside the EU, and said politics was about treading new paths.

Ahead of the EU referendum last year, the Italian Job star was praised by former Ukip leader Nigel Farage when he hit out at Brussels' "faceless civil servants".
He added: "To me, you've now got in Europe a sort of government by-proxy of everybody, who has now got carried away.
