The legendary naturalist, 90, has shot footage especially for award-winning composer Sarah Class, who has brought together images of the natural world to create the backdrop for her new single, I Will Fight.
Sir David, Patron to World Land Trust, appears at the start of the music video with a poignant message about protecting our planet and the lifeforms that occupy it.
Speaking directly into the camera, the national treasure affirms: "We are totally dependent on the natural world for every mouthful of food we eat, for every breath of air we take and for most of the things that most of us think make life worth living and if we are to secure them we must fight for them.

"If we're really going to save the animals and plants who give us so much joy we need to give them land; great areas of land."
The video, which aims to raise awareness of the charity's work, then collates a number of stunningly emotive images of the natural world.
Imparting his final words of wisdom with the audience, David powerfully concludes: "One shaft of light and hope in looking ahead at what's going to happen is in my view that which you see when you see the history of our World Land Trust."
Gushing about Sir David's contribution to the cause, Sarah enthused: "By making the time for us, Sir David Attenborough is helping to promote the incredible work of World Land Trust.

Sarah's new track aims to raise awareness of the World Land Trust
"As an Ambassador for the WLT, it is my greatest wish that through my music I am able to play some part in helping conserve and protect our planet, and the magic animals and plants who share it with us."
John Burton, Chief Executive of the World Land Trust, added: "I was thrilled to hear this song written by World Land Trust Ambassador Sarah Class, who has been inspired by WLT's work in saving huge areas of land for the wildlife that lives in it, and for the benefit of surrounding communities.
"Sir David Attenborough has with great clarity summarised why the WLT is needed, and Sarah's music will communicate it to a huge audience."
I Will Fight is released on March 10 on Glorious Technicolour Records.
