Texas shooting San AntonioNEWS4SANANTONIO

One person is believed to have been killed and six injured in a shooting in San Antonio

Police and emergency services are now attending the incident, which is believed to have taken place near a children’s playground at Rolling Oaks Mall in San Antonio, Texas.

San Antonio Fire Department has confirmed one person died during the incident which took place at around 3.30pm.

Police described the victim, believed to be a man in his 30s, as a “Good Samaritan who tried to intervene to save a victim”.

Following the man being shot, a member of the public took out his concealed weapon and shot one of the gunmen.

Both gunmen then attempted to flee, with one firing shots at bystanders, injuring six.
