Brianne Altice blamed “self-esteem issues” for the crimes, claiming the underage students made her “feel good” about herself.
Pupils at the school where she worked as an English teacher reportedly had a running joke of "Who is Ms Altice sleeping with now?"
Described by one of her teen lovers as a “teacher with benefits”, the pair continued with their secret trysts long after she had already been arrested for under-age sex – even romping in a church car park behind her husband’s back.
The 37-year-old was arrested after one 16-year-old lover tipped off police to the sordid affairs – accurately describing the tattoos on her body and the layout of her house, where they had sex at least five times.

Two other 17-year-old students then came forward, claiming she had also been having sex with them.
She was jailed for 30 years in July 2015 after pleading guilty to three counts of forcible sexual abuse.
And she was fired from her job at Davis High School in Utah, while her husband filed for divorce and applied for custody of their children.

"Issues I'm very aware of now.”
Utah Board of Pardons and Parole Vice-Chairman Robert Yeates said some of the meetings with the youngest pupil happened during lunch hours.
But Ms Altice said she was taking responsibility for her actions, adding: "This was my doing. This was no one else's fault but my own.
Brianne Altice will never be able to teach again after her romps with students
“This was not my ex-husband's fault, or the school's fault, or my students' fault.
“These were my poor, poor decisions – I'm very aware of it now and I am very remorseful. I regret the decisions I made that brought us here."
Although she will never be able to teach again, she apparently has a job at a legal service lined up once she is released from prison.
Sentencing guidelines call for the 37-year-old to serve until January 2020 at least, but the parole board said it would decide in the next month how long she will actually remain inside.
