Taking to Twitter, the self-confessed hater of President Donald Trump posted a picture of the pavement and wrote alongside it: "Walking to get coffee saw these all over a sidewalk in the town I'm in. Is this an attempt at swastikas? Do neo nazis not have google?"
Immediately, creative Tweeters were quick to call out Sarah for her blunder.
One tweeted a picture of speed sign post along with the caption: "Just saw this mysterious Nazi sign on the street. There's even a '15MPH' under it – must be some secret Nazi code."

Another posted a construction worker with his arms raised fixing something, saying: "I photographed a Nazi in uniform even giving a salute SMDH."
One Twitter user was more critical, tweeting: "If you see swastikas everywhere, you go, you might be the problem @SarahKSilverman."
The comedian showed her fierce reactions with a simple: "Oh I do and I am".

However, Sarah was able to laugh at her mistake, tweeting: "It's a construction marker. Innocent mistake for a Jew that gets 'burn in an oven!' at least weekly on twitter."
She stuck to her guns though, posting the original picture along with an actual swastika, saying: "Still pretty close though…"
This comes just a week after she controversially called for a military coup against President Trump, posting on Twitter: "WAKE UP & JOIN THE RESISTANCE".
