Next week will finally see Samsung unveil its latest and greatest smartphone.
The Galaxy S8 Unpacked event is scheduled for Wednesday 29th and there’s plenty of rumours to suggest great things are about to be revealed by the Korean technology giant.
The S8 looks likely to include a host of new features such as improved photography and facial recognition for easy access to the device.
The screen is also expected to cover almost the entire front of the phone with the rumoured S8+ version including a giant 6.2-inch display.
According to a new leak, the Galaxy S8 will be available in either Black Sky, Orchid Grey, or Arctic Silver and will retail in Europe for €799 for the basic S8, roughly £692, and the entry-level S8+ will retail for €899, roughly £778.
We’ll know more on Wednesday but there is one major rumour that may cause a huge amount of disappointment for anyone buying an S8 in the UK.

Samsung Galaxy S8 will get a dramatic new design, with no buttons, and an edge-to-edge display
Earlier this week, Express.co.uk brought you the news that Samsung might not include Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon chip in every phone.
It’s thought that the UK and Europe may miss out on this new processor and now a speed test has revealed why this could be so significant.
A recent post by Android Police has revealed just how powerful these new brains will be.
The website has had a chance to test the Qualcomm 835 and the results appear incredibly impressive.

Qualcomm had originally estimated that its new powerhouse would be around 20 per cent faster than it’s previous offering.
But the latest benchmark results have revealed that the GPU performance is nearly 40 per cent better than the 835’s predecessor in some tests.
If Samsung does end up placing this chip in some of its S8’s it will easily beat all of the current Android competition on the market including Google’s Pixel and LG’s new G6.
Sadly, if the report from KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo is true, UK users look set to get the Exynos 8895 processor which may not have such impressive stats.
And the news gets worse as along with the 835 being faster, it's also the slimmest chip the company has ever made and is far more efficient than many processors currently available on the market.
The Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 is the fastest processor the company has made
Along with the shear power the Snapdragon 835 also comes with Qualcomm's Quick Charge 4.0 technology, which is able to recharge the phone faster than ever before.
The company says that it can provide a jaw-dropping five hours of call time from just five minutes of charging, and that charging your device to 50 per cent capacity from nothing also takes just 15 minutes.
It's currently unclear if or why Samsung wouldn't feature the 835 processor in every model of the S8 but it's possible enough supply and cost could be a factor.
Express.co.uk will be at the event in London and will bring you all the news live as it happens.
