Samsung Galaxy S8 price, release date, specs and more
The Samsung Galaxy S8 release date is fast approaching.
The South Korean technology company will take the wraps off its latest smartphone at a Samsung Unpacked media event on March 29th.
Ahead of the press announcement, the hotly-anticipated smartphone has been subject to a series of devastating leaks.
Here is everything we know about the Galaxy S8 release date, UK price, and specifications.
Samsung Galaxy S8 Release Date
Samsung will announce the Galaxy S8 smartphone at the Samsung Unpacked event at 16:00 GMT on March 29th 2017.
The press event will be live-streamed on Samsung.com, the South Korean company has confirmed.
According to a leak from Evan Blass, the new flagship Samsung Galaxy devices will then be available to buy in-stores on April 28th.
That's a week later than was previously reported by sources with knowledge of Samsung's plans.
Mr Blass says there is no particular reason for the rescheduled launch date.
However, it is clear Samsung is being incredibly cautious with this launch, following the rushed schedule that led to the disastrous Galaxy Note 7 recall.

Samsung Galaxy S8 Price
Reliable leakster Evan Blass has published the alleged pricing of the Galaxy S8.
According to the reliable tipster, the flagship phone will set you back €799 for the basic S8, roughly £692, and the entry-level S8+ will cost €899, roughly £778.
That’s more expensive than its predecessor, the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge, which went on-sale for £639 with 32GB of internal storage.
Is this what the Samsung Galaxy S8 will look like?
Samsung Galaxy S8 Specs
According to the latest credible leaks and whispers from the supply chain, the Galaxy S8 will ship with an impressive, almost bezel-less edge-to-edge design, marking the first dramatic shake-up for the Galaxy S design in over two years.
Samsung has purportedly dropped all physical buttons from the front of the device in a clever ploy to keep the overall size of the device small enough to use one-handed – despite the increased display size.
The Galaxy S8 is widely-tipped to arrive with an impressive 5.8-inch Quad HD display, while still maintaining the same footprint as the Galaxy S7.
There is also expected to be a 6.2-inch QHD AMOLED display model, marketed as the Galaxy S8 Plus.
Both of these display sizes are larger than the Samsung Galaxy S7, Galaxy S7 Edge, iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus.
With the physical buttons gone from the Galaxy S8 range, navigation will now be handled by software buttons included along the bottom of the display.
Samsung has redesigned the stock on-screen navigation buttons that ship with Google Android.
The company has dropped the circle, square and triangle used in stock Android as the Home Button, Multi-Tasking and Back button.
The upcoming device will also sport an iris scanner, water resistant design and 64GB of expandable memory.
Qi wireless charging, contactless transactions via Samsung Pay and additional security features from Samsung Knox will also be included.

Another Samsung Galaxy S8 leaked image
It has previously been rumoured the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ will use Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon 835 processor.
The new Qualcomm chip is the company’s most powerful to date and should guarantee a buttery-smooth user experience for users.
The Snapdragon 835 is also the slimmest chip the company has ever made and will be much more efficient than previous generations meaning you should never see a drop in performance.
In fact the chip consumes 25 per cent less power than the Snapdragon 821, resulting in more battery life than previous Galaxy S smartphones.
Alongside the shiny new design and power efficient chip, Samsung will use the new phone to debut its new virtual assistant, dubbed Bixby.
And some whispers from South Korean even point to an updated S Health app that will direct Galaxy S8 owners to the nearest pharmacy, launch video chat conversations with GPs, and more.
Samsung Galaxy S8 will be unveiled on March 29
