Galaxy Note 8 is going to have one feature iPhone 8 definitely will not have
Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is scheduled to launch next month.
The follow-up to the infamous Galaxy Note 7 (which suffered serious problems with batteries overheating and had to be discontinued) is heavily rumoured to follow the lead set by the Galaxy S8 and sport an edge-to-edge Infinity Display.
But as you might expect, the Galaxy Note will sport a larger OLED screen – rumoured to be around 6.4 inches.
The Infinity Display design requires Samsung to ditch the physical Home Button from the front of the phone.
Like its predecessors, the Galaxy Note 8 looks set to incorporate a stylus to bring a slew of productivity-focused features to the phone.

The next-generation S Pen is said to have a built-in motor that works with the Find My Mobile app to help you locate it, should you misplace it.
Samsung is expected to include Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon 835 processor coupled with 6GB of RAM and a 3,300 mAh battery cell – slightly smaller than the Galaxy S8+'s 3,500 mAh battery, but then again, that’s not surprising given the recent history of the Galaxy Note series.
And unlike the upcoming Apple iPhone 8, the next-generation Galaxy Note is widely-rumoured to sport a 3.5mm headphone port.
A slew of recent case leaks have all revealed the 3.5mm industry-standard port to be intact.

Leaked images from third-party case manufacturers reveal a 3.5mm headphone port on the Galaxy Note 8
The images, which show third-party cases for the upcoming Galaxy Note 8, reveal a cut-out for the USB-C cable – and one for the headphones.
Other cutouts are for the S Pen, speaker grill, and microphone.
But while the Galaxy Note 8 does not look set to follow the iPhone’s lead when it comes to audio ports, the flagship phablet does look set to borrow a similar dual-camera set-up.

Apple iPhone 8 will debut a brand-new all-glass look, with a curved OLED display
It’s unclear how Samsung plans to use the dual camera set-up, for example, whether it will favour the wide-angle approach to photography LG has used, or the depth-perception employed by Apple with its iPhone 7 Plus.
All these features come at a cost, and the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 isn’t going to be cheap.
Speaking to Osen, an anonymous Samsung official said: "I know that it is about $1,000 to $1,100 depending on the country of origin."
If true, this will make the new Note 8 one of the most expensive devices on the market.
