Samsung Galaxy S8 will get a dramatic new design, with no buttons, and an edge-to-edge display
Samsung fans may be desperately waiting for news on the Galaxy S8 but there's something else from the Korean tech giant which is available to buy from today.
The all-new Galaxy A3 and A5 have just gone on sale in the UK and offer features you'd expect to see in a flagship phone but at a much lower price.
These latest mid-range devices from Samsung feature an all-metal frame and 3D glass back.
There's two sizes to choose from with the A5 landing in your pocket with a 5.2-inch display and the A3 including a slightly smaller 4.7-inch screen.
Both of these displays include always-on technology allowing users to check for key notifications without waking up the device and wasting precious battery life.
Like the premium Galaxy S7, the new A series are rated IP68 which means they can cope with a dip in water and are resistant to dust.

There’s also an enhanced rear-facing camera and taking selfies has been made much easier for the user with the ability to touch anywhere on the screen to snap a high-resolution snap of your face.
The A series also uses the display as a front flash which should help improve low light shots.
Samsung says it’s trying to make smartphone photography less complicated on the A series with quick access to shot modes and instant filters which add effects to pictures.
Users can also use specific modes such as Food Mode to optimise and enhance the colour and contrast of selected shots.
So how much will these new phones cost you?
The Galaxy A5 costs £369
UK customers can buy the new Galaxy A3 & A5 through Samsung’s online store with prices starting from £279 for the A3.
The larger A5 will set users back £369 which is still a lot cheaper than the current £639 price for the Galaxy S7 Edge.
Along with SIM only deals there's also plenty of offers from mobile operators.
Vodafone has launched a deal which offers customers 24GB of UK data for the price of 6GB as part of their Data Extravaganza.
This means Samsung users can pick up a Galaxy A5 for £32 per month (£10 upfront cost) which includes unlimited minutes, unlimited texts, 24GB of UK data and 2GB of inclusive roaming data.
The A Series models are available to buy in four colours including Black Sky, Gold Sand, Blue Mist and Peach Cloud.
