Travelling Manchester United fans will be provided with blankets for the Rostov match
Rostov has experienced some extreme cold weather over the winter which has severely damaged the pitch at the Olimp-2 stadium.
Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho has already voiced his concerns at the state of the playing surface, calling it unplayable.
However, the United fans should have less to complain about as the Rostov supporters will be providing them with warm blankets to keep them comfortable in the stands.
The Manchester United staff were not impressed with the Rostov pitch
"At the entrance to the guest sector with United, fans will be given warm blankets so that they are not frozen," a Fans Rostov statement read.
"Everyone knows that the weather in March is unpredictable, and we, as hospitable hosts, should take care of our guests."
And with the Russia World Cup fast approaching and concerns being raised about the safety of fans at the tournament, Rostov have claimed they wish to paint Russian supporters in a more positive light through this act of kindness.
