Ronaldinho could have signed for Manchester United
The Brazilian seemed poised to join Manchester United in 2003 from Paris Saint-Germain after it emerged David Beckham would be leaving Old Trafford.
However, Ronaldinho clinched a move to Barca instead, and enjoyed a decorated five-year spell in La Liga.
The Catalan giants turned to Ronaldinho, while United filled the void left behind by Beckham by plucking Cristiano Ronaldo from Sporting Lisbon.

And while admitting United was a possibility, Ronaldinho insists his decision to move to the Nou Camp was easy, with then president Sandro Rosell proving to be the key to the deal.
“I never even thought of that,” Ronaldinho told FourFourTwo.
“Yes, I could have played for another club, but I went to Barcelona because of my friendship with Sandro Rosell. I could have played for Manchester United.
“My brother was already studying what I would do after PSG. I was a World Cup winner then, and that opened a lot of doors.
“But when Sandro was elected, I had the chance to see the club and the city, and the choice became easy.”
Ronaldinho also insisted the Barcelona project changed when he signed, adding: “Everything changed at Barcelona.
“It was in all our heads to make a different Barcelona, to mount the challenge to the Galacticos and do it with a very young team to change the story. I was never worried.”
