Frank de Boer could join Rangers in the summer
The Dutchman, who scored two goals in 15 appearances for Rangers, is interested in the post vacated by Mark Warburton.
Rangers chairman Dave King has confirmed the club would consider making a short-term interim appointment as they consider the best way forward, which could leave the door open for De Boer.
But despite revealing that De Boer could seal his next move as early as April, his twin brother Ronald insists he will not commit until the summer due to negative past experiences – most notably at Inter Milan.
Mark Warburton left Rangers last week
“Frank won’t go into talk of any approaches, but I know that he is waiting until the end of April," Ronald told Radio Scotland.
“That is when he will make his decision and see what options are on the table. Then he will choose from them.
“From now on, he will never take a team at this stage of the season.
