Sanchez’s future at Arsenal is becoming increasingly uncertain.

Several reports claimed Sanchez had been involved in a bust-up with his team-mates last week.
Rio Ferdinand believes Alexis Sanchez has had enough of Arsenal’s mediocrity
Wenger has since denied that story and argued he benched Sanchez for tactical reasons.
The duo were all smiles in training yesterday, but Ferdinand believes the forward has had enough of Arsenal’s failure to challenge for major trophies.
“Whatever is going on behind the scenes with Alexis Sanchez, Arsenal need him on the pitch from the start against Bayern Munich tonight because we saw on Saturday how bad they are without him,” Ferdinand told the London Evening Standard.

“I don’t know anything about the stories of him causing problems behind the scenes.
“What I do know is that for the first 45 minutes of their 3-1 defeat at Anfield, I watched what Arsenal are like without Sanchez. It could be a sign of things to come — and the club have to be worried about that.
“This is a test of Arsene Wenger’s man-management skills. No player is bigger than the club.
“I understand that and agree with it, but at the same time Arsenal are trying to finish in the top four. So, you have to find a way of getting your best player in the XI every week.

“I remember at Manchester United when there was all the talk about Cristiano Ronaldo joining Real Madrid and the people around him were saying he wanted to leave. Sir Alex Ferguson spoke to him and got another year out of him. We then won the League.
“That’s the type of man-to-man discussions that is required for superstars. Sanchez falls into that category. Sometimes you have to treat them with cotton wool.
“I think Sanchez has had enough of Arsenal’s mediocrity.
“He has gone there to win titles and Champions Leagues and they’re not doing that.
“He wants to find somewhere where he can.
“I’m sure he is saying to himself, ‘Can I win the League with this team? Are they signing the right players?’ I don’t think he is getting the right vibe.
“Don’t read anything into the pictures of Sanchez shaking hands at training yesterday. It was just because all the cameras were there.
“Alexis is paid to win football matches and the top priority has to be the club getting Champions League football for next season.
“Any issues, whether it be his contract, wanting to leave or anything else, should be put on hold until the end of the campaign.”
