When is the next episode of Rick and Morty out?
Rick and Morty season three – episode two is expected to be released sometime in July.
The new episode is titled “Rickmancing the Stone”, which is a play on the classic 1984 film starring Michael Douglas – “Romancing the Stone”.
Not a lot is known about the upcoming episode, but fans believe it could see Rick and Morty head out on a mission to save Beth, or it could see Rick fall in love with someone.
Season three premiered in April when creator Dan Harmon announced the first episode would air on April Fools’ Day.
Fans initially assumed this was a cruel joke by Harmon, but it turned out to be real and fans have since been dying to get their hands on more episodes.
One Rick and Morty fan went as far as to tweet Mr Harmon back in April, demanding the new series is released.
“Nobody gives a s***, I just wanna know where’s season 3,” the fan wrote.
Mr Harmon replied: “What if I waved a magic wand and made the first episode from season three premiere tonight. Is that what you’d want?”

Rick and Morty keeps taking longer and longer to write, and I don’t known why
Dan Harmon, Rick and Morty creator
He said: “So, I’m sorry I can’t say 'we fractured a creative valve in sector three' or 'it’s Paul’s fault. GET HIM!' No hidden truth. We slow. Sorry.
“Part of what I was trying to express is that WE would sit and ponder, what’s the problem here, how can we write faster, why we so slow? And then we’d go 'what made us faster in season one' and then we’d go 'we didn’t sit here talking about this, let’s just do this,' etc."
Earlier in January Mr Harmon also apologised for the season three delay – season two ended in October 2015.
Speaking at Sundance Film Festival 2017 he said: “I’m so sorry. I don't have a release date for season three.”

“It’s late because of us, it’s late because of me. Rick and Morty keeps taking longer and longer to write, and I don’t known why”.
But in February writer Mike McMahan gave the fans a glimmer of hope when he tweeted out a picture of the scrip for the new season.
In the tweet he said: “Hey @RickandMorty am I allowed to say we’re recording episode 301 today?”
Season three is currently billed to run for 14 episodes.
