With just four days of the transfer window remaining, Roma have found themselves in a complicated situation.
The Serie A giants yesterday signed Clement Grenier from Lyon in a loan deal until the end of the season.
And Roma manager Luciano Spalletti now has to offload Paredes to balance the books, claim Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia.

And, according to journalist Gianluca di Marzio, Paredes is available for £25.6million.
Various reports – including Four Four Two – claim Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea are all tracking Paredes’ situation.
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has already said he is unlikely to do any transfer business this month and is happy with his squad.
The Germain remains open to a deal at the right price but appears keen to retain the stability of his squad rather than change it around.

Liverpool are said to have had an £18m offer for Paredes turned down last summer.
Chelsea boss Antonio Conte, meanwhile, has made his defence more of a priority this winter and saw a bid for Celtic goalkeeper Craig Gordon rejected this week.
As for Arsenal, manager Arsene Wenger is yet to make a significant move in the transfer window, despite having been linked with Paredes since November last year.
Paredes, 22, has made 20 appearances for Roma this season, having joined the club from Chievo in 2014.
