THE RED Dead Redemption 2 Super Bowl extravaganza failed to materialise this week but could we be about to learn more from Rockstar anyway?

ROCKSTAR
Red Dead Redemption 2 was not part of the Super Bowl extravaganza this year
While it was hoped that some kind of Red Dead Redemption 2 trailer would be shown during Super Bowl 2017, the sporting event has now been and past without the hint of a RDR 2 teaser.
While there was no big announcement during the Super Bowl, there is hopes that another date could see the release of some new information.
A new Take-Two Interactive earnings report is scheduled for Tuesday, February 7 and is likely to include at least references to the new game.
Going on past TTI events, it seems likely that there will be discussions related to both the future of GTA 5 Online and Red Dead Redemption 2.
The information during these events can prove quite limited, however, fans should keep their ears to the ground as more on the amount of new content coming to GTA 5 Online could be a main talking point.
Red Dead Redemption 2 pre-order cards, meanwhile, will reportedly go on sale on February 5, which suggests a big announcement is inbound.
Other projects that could be touched on is one that is reportedly being put together by Rockstar for the Nintendo Switch, which will allegedly see L.A Noire released in the next 12 months on the new console.
L.A. Noire, the neo-noir detective action-adventure game developed by Team Bondi, was published by Rockstar Games who still reportedly hold the intellectual property.
If this rumour does prove correct, can we expect any other top Rockstar titles coming to the Nintendo Switch in the near future?
GTA 5 would seem the most probable out of the latest titles created by the studio, having been successfully ported to nearly every major platform in the past.
And the game is still very popular, boasting impressive GTA 5 Online cocurrent usership and lasting free update appeal.

The Red Dead Redemption 2 release date, meanwhile, is currently set for autumn 2017, although various retailer leaks have narrowed it down to October.
One retail chain advertised the Red Dead Redemption 2 release date as October 2, while another claimed it would launch at the end of October.
October and November are typically the busiest months of the year for new video game releases, so an October Red Dead Redemption 2 release date would certainly make sense.
It’s also been reported that the launch of Red Dead Redemption 2 will mark the end for GTA 5 Online, Rockstar’s hugely successful multiplayer on PS4, Xbox One and PC.
Fans will instead be able to get their multiplayer kicks in Red Dead Redemption 2, although it's unclear how online play will work in the Western sequel.
