Spanish website Don Balon claim the Madrid president is desperate to sell the winger before his contract runs out.
Ronaldo put pen to paper on a five-year contract extension worth £365,000-a-week last year.
But it is claimed Perez plans to sell the 31-year-old to China in the summer of 2018.
The report also states the Madrid president has been eager to offload Ronaldo for two years now.

Cristiano Ronaldo was close to Iker Casillas – something Florentino Perez did not like
Perez is wary of his dressing room influence and was furious at Ronaldo for siding with Iker Casillas and Sergio Ramos during a politics row.
Madrid believe Ronaldo is now past his best.
The winger has struck 18 goals from 22 games this season – a stunning achievement – but Perez wants to sell him to China, where he can recoup close to the £80million they paid United to sign him in 2009.
