Sony is investigating PSN offline issues
PSN is offline once again, leaving PS4 users unable to connect to online multiplayer.
The PSN server status currently makes grim reading for fans, with all of Sony's online services experiencing connection issues.
According to the PlayStation Network server page, account management, gaming and social, PS Now, PS Video, PS Music and the PlayStation Store are all offline.
There have also been hundreds of reports on Down Detector, which tracks the status of online services.
Sony has acknowledged the issue on Twitter, telling followers that it is investigating the issue.
"We're aware that some users are experiencing issues logging into PSN. Thanks for your patience as we investigate."
Express Online will update the story with any new developments.

It comes just days after PSN was hit by a similar outage, as fans were greeted with maintenance error messages.
That was despite the fact that there was no scheduled maintenance confirmed for that day.
Fans reported (WS-37432-9) error codes, although the problem was fixed in relatively short period of time.
Perhaps it's connected to the new PS4 update, which is currently being tested by beta members.
Just days after revealing this month's PS Plus games, Sony announced external HDD support for the PlayStation 4.
It's also good news for PS4 Pro owners, after NeoGAF has uncovered plans to introduce a Boost Mode for PS4 Pro.
This would give all games a frame rate upgrade, even if they haven't been given an official PS4 Pro patch.
While the PS4 Pro Boost Mode is yet to be officially announced, Sony has revealed other new features, such as custom wallpapers for the menu screen, a quick menu refresh and status updates.
