
PS4 servers DOWN: PlayStation Network hit by new PSN server trouble
THE PS4 servers down, leaving many users unable to access core PlayStation Network services, users are reporting tonight.

PS4 servers are down and users are unable to access the PlayStation Network
A wide scale outage is currently causing problems with PS4 servers, and Sony have now confirmed that they are looking into the issues.
"You may have some difficulty signing in or creating an account on PlayStation Network," the official PSN sites explains.
"You may also have some difficulty launching games, applications, or online features
"Our engineers are working to resolve the issue as soon as possible, and we thank you for your patience."
Fans are reporting that they are unable to access core PlayStation Network services, like logging in and account management.
"Down in Indiana – ISP out of Louisville," one fan wrote.

"Can browse internet but not sign in. I just wanted to watch Netflix."
There are a mix of different reports tonight, some are saying they are unable to get past the login page, while others have revealed that they are able to use other apps not connected with online play.
The latest outage comes just days following another major event which left many without access to core online services for several hours.
It's currently unclear what is causing tonight's issues and how long it will take for normal access and service to resume.
The PlayStation support team have now offered an update on the situation on Twitter, saying that experts are looking into tonight's disruptions, where started around 1am UK time.

Independent website Down Detector, which measures social mentions around a certain topic to track outages across the globe, shows problems throughout the UK, Europe and some areas of the United States.
According to the figures recorded by Down Detector, thousands of PSN users are being hit by the latest PlayStation server outage.
Enraged customers have flooded social media to complain about the problems.
"Is PSN down again??" one user tweeted.
Another added: "PSN down on a Saturday morning? The world is on fire and they decide to add fuel?"
"Can't access player profile or friends list but site say servers are "up and running"."
