Aidan Turner admitted he cannot stand Strictly Come Dancing
Millions thought his tanned torso and rugged good looks made the swashbuckling star a shoo-in for the smash hit ballroom show.
But despite being a talented dancer as a youngster Aidan, 33, has point blank refused to appear…whatever money is offered.
Asked if he even watches Strictly he said: "No. I hate it. God, I hate watching it now, I can't stand it really", adding the smash hit series is "not about dancing…the dancing is rubbish".

"It was so hot that day, and we had a whole field to do so I thought, well, he wouldn't be in a shirt…"
He said: "I wasn't prepared for what happened when the scene went out. The reaction was – well, it was very unexpected.
"As distracting as it might be at times and no matter what it's become to some people, I still think the scene works."
