Piers Morgan voiced his opinions on Will Young's PTSD
The Good Morning Britain host said, alongside a link to the interview: “Will Young does not have PTSD. He has WNTS – Whiny Needy Twerp Syndrome.”
He went on to rant in later tweets: “I think it's become a massively over-used term that damages focus for those with real issues,” before he added: “Seriously, is there any celebrity left in the world not currently suffering from PTSD?”
It didn’t take long before social media users were commenting on the posts in their droves, with one person ranting: “WTH is wrong with @piersmorgan that he feels the need to use his platform of 6million to bully people for speaking out about mental health?!”

Piers was bombarded with tweets
“Oh sort yourself out, you absolute muppet,” a second screamed.
A third complained: “Piers I am a huge fan of you, watch you every morning, but this is an all time low for you. Disgusting!”
“How do you know Will Young does not have PTSD? Are you a psychiatrist?” a further person questioned.

Yet another social networker pointed out: “Mental illness can be extremely difficult to spot in loved ones close up. You can't possibly judge it in someone from a distance.”
“Is being ‘mentally ill’ a bad thing or a weakness in your view?” a different follower quizzed, while one went on: “Bit of a shallow comment to make on mental health? Especially when you don't know circumstances etc..”
