The missile strike, which saw 59 Tomahawk missiles launched at a Syrian airbase on April 6 , came in retaliation for a deadly chemical weapons attack the US claims was carried out by Syrian President Bashar Assad’s government.
Dozens were killed in the deadly assault, including children – although nine civilians were later killed in the US air strike.

The strikes have been met with a mixed response, but have been condemned by the likes of Russia who claim the attack breached international law.
And UK foreign secretary Boris Johnson has sparked fears the attack could provoke World War Three after he claimed Mr Trump "could bomb Syria again".
But he also praised the US leader for showing “a resolve and willingness that has been sadly missing in the last few years”.
