Henry Onyekuru is expected to join Celtic in the summer

The 19-year-old Eupen striker was heavily linked with a move to Celtic in the January transfer window, but the Hoops failed to meet the club's demands.

However, Onyekuru is expected to leave the Belgian outfit in the summer with the Nigerian reportedly keen on joining the Scottish champions.

Express Sport takes a look at some of the greatest players who have played in both the Premier League and the Scottish Premier League (now Scottish Premiership)

"He said he had a few offers here and there and wasn't too happy at his Belgian club and wanted to leave.

"He asked me specifically about Celtic and I told him first and foremost they are a big club, they give youngsters a chance and it's a step closer to the English Premier League.

"Even for someone like me looking in from the outside I was able to list so many positives about moving to Celtic and he seemed to agree – but he had other options. Once we had our conversation it was out of my hands."
