Peter Andre has attempted to backtrack after saying he 'likes' President Donald Trump
The 43-year-old defended the controversial American businessman when writing in his new! column last week, with the Mysterious Girl star saying that he "quite likes" the man whose presidency has sparked protests across the UK and US this week.
"Can we just take a moment to talk about Donald Trump?" he wrote. "There are so many people for him as well as against him, but at the end of the day he's the President of the US and people need to accept that."
The father-of-four continued: "He has to be given a chance and I think he may just make some positive changes for America. I know there are people who will disagree with me, but from what I've seen and heard so far, he's been pretty true to what he said he was going to do.

However, his comments weren't very well received among his fan base, with one shocked admirer tweeting him: "For some one who his self has many nationalities- would you like not to be allowed in aux, Cyprus? Disappointed!"
"I wrote my collumn last week before he put his ban on which I totally disagree with 🙂 does that make sense? (sic)," he responded.
