New Overwatch character changes are being planned
We already know that there are a few Overwatch characters being monitored by Blizzard for rebalancing and now it appears Bastion could be added to the list.
When the game first launched, Bastion was quite a reviled character, known to be used for camping in areas and locking down choke-points, players facing him could get easily frustrated.
However, the game has changed and players themselves have become much better with dealing with the pecky robot, apparently adding to a sharp dip in his winrate and use.
This appears to be something Blizzard are aware of and ready to combat, principal designer Geoff Goodman told fans as much on the forums, writing: "I'm actually working on some changes for him right now.
"I'm not quite sure when these changes will hit the live game; we're still testing different things internally.

Overwatch Chinese New Year of the Rooster
No further information was provided, however, we do know other characters are being watched too.
One fan recently gave game director Jeff Kaplan a series of requests, which included changing the damage rate connected to Torbjorn and Symmetra’s turrets, as well as offering a way to report players on consoles.
This was Kaplan’s reply on both subjects: “Regarding Torbjorn and Symmetra: We've been watching them closely. Up until recently they were performing in lockstep with PC.
“Recently they've begun to diverge a little bit so we're taking a look at them now and we'll consider adjusting them.
“Regarding Reporting: This feature is coming to both PS4 and Xbox. I don't have an exact ETA because there are many moving parts to make this happen.
“My hope is that everything locks into place before summer… or sooner. But we're at the mercy of things beyond our control on this one and we've been working super hard to make it happen.”
The recent launch of the Year of the Rooster also provided some character rebalancing, including the changes to Roadhog’s hook ability.
Probably the most pointed-out rebalancing from the latest patch, the developer comment giving the reason for the tweak, reads: “The hook should now feel more consistent for Roadhog players, but it should also feel more reasonable to his enemies, as they cannot be hooked or pulled around corners anymore.”
