Overwatch Anniversary party hats can be downloaded from Blizzard
The latest Overwatch news has confirmed that the game will soon see a new Assault Map, based on the moon, launch in the coming weeks.
While Blizzard haven’t provided a firm release date, fans can be confident it will make its debut during Overwatch’s Season 5.
It’s another way of Blizzard celebrating the game’s first anniversary, although they have found other cool ways to do that too.
Fans who want to do it in style can actually download official Overwatch Anniversary party hats from the Blizzard press site.
There’s a unique design for each character in the game, which are free to download and print out.
Fans can also check out 48 new console controllers for PS4 and Xbox One, featuring ARTtitude designs representing the game’s current 24 heroes.

“Itching to get your hands on one? Rejoice, you’ll have a chance to win these controllers through various contests and giveaways organized across Europe.
“Keep an eye on our official channels for news of these opportunities in the coming days and through the year.”

The game director recently revealed more on the story ramifications of the map, confirming that Blizzard are using it to flesh out Winston’s background.
Fans will be able to find keys parts to his story within the Lunar Colony, including his room.
Kaplan also discussed the “mysteries” of the new map, which could be the reference to the potential new hero players are hoping for.

While not confirmed, references to a small Gorilla named Hammond have been bettered through the recent content released by Blizzard.
Talking about the new map and its content, Kaplan added: “You’ll even pick up on some names and some potential mysteries of some of Winston’s peers.
“Some of the other Gorillas that were also part of the Horizon experiment.”
No mention has been made if a new hero is being released, although Blizzard have confirmed they’ve been working on the next character for some time.
Overwatch director Jeff Kaplan also told Express Online that the team was "very far along with hero number 25".
While Kaplan did point out that far along doesn't necessarily mean the hero is ready, he made the comments during an interview with Express Online in April.
