OnePlus 5 release date could be coming sooner than you think
OnePlus 5 release date could be coming up sooner than you thought, if a leaked poster about the upcoming Android phone is anything to go by.
Pictures posted on social media suggests the highly anticipated follow-up to the OnePlus 3 and 3T will be launched on June 15.
An alleged leaked poster appeared on Chinese social media site Weibo which teased a OnePlus event happening on June 15 at 3pm local time.
This also ties into another leak that also appeared on Weibo earlier this week and penciled in the OnePlus 5 release date for June 15.
That information came from an alleged leaked internal e-mail published on the Chinese equivalent of Twitter.
OnePlus this week have already teased the first photo taken with the OnePlus 5 – which shows off how good the camera is.

OnePlus 5 looks like one of the smartphones to beat this year. Following a slew of rumours from the Chinese supply chain, a number of designers have cooked-up high-resolution renders of what the smartphone could look like, when it launches in the UK this summer.

OnePlus 5 will be the next flagship smartphone from the plucky start-up
The picture posted on OnePlus's official Twitter account was a composite shot – showing the same image taken with a OnePlus 5 and another smartphone.
And it's clear which shot is the better – with more vivid lighting and crisper details in one half of the image.
OnePlus posted the shot on Twitter with the cheeky caption: "Can you tell which photo was taken with the OnePlus 5?"
The Chinese smartphone startup have already confirmed they are working with DxO to improve the camera in its next flagship device.

In their official blog they wrote: "DxO is perhaps most well-known for creating the defining photography benchmark, the DxOMark.
"They’ve got years of imaging experience and expertise, both for professional cameras and for smartphones.
"Working alongside DxO, we’re confident the OnePlus 5 will be capable of capturing some of the clearest photos around."
OnePlus 5 release date may have been revealed by this poster
It has also been confirmed that the OnePlus 5 will be just as fast as Android rival the Samsung Galaxy S8.
The OnePlus 5 will be powered by the top-end Snapdragon 835 processor, semiconductor company Qualcomm revealed this month.
That is the same processor you'll find under the hood of the Sony Xperia XZ Premium, HTC U11 and the US version of the Samsung Galaxy S8.
However, with premium components being used Android fans hoping the OnePlus 5 will retail at a similar price to the OnePlus 3 could be disappointed.
Sources speaking to Android Authority said OnePlus is “looking at a significantly higher price point due to components and design”.
There are murmurs that the OnePlus 5 price could be as much as $650 (roughly £500).
This is a significant step up from the company's last phone which retailed for £399.
