While the pair did manage to change out of their glamorous garments from the night before, Holly Willoughby began to retch as they opened today’s instalment of the talk show.
After admitting they weren’t in “the best condition”, the duo thanked fans for their second consecutive National Television Awards win.
“We have made it in,” Phillip, 56, proudly beamed. “We’re not in brilliant condition but at least we’re not wearing last night’s clothes.”

This Morning paid tribute to the late Denise Robertson during their NTA victory speech last night after the programme’s long-serving Agony Aunt passed away of cancer last year.
"We'll start on a sort of serious note, just to say that this time last year we had Denise Robertson on stage with us and we really miss her,” Phillip told the 20,000 strong audience. "So, this is for Denise Robertson this year."
This Morning airs weekdays at 10.30am on ITV.
