North Korea may have launched another missile test (File pictures)
It is reported that Pyongyang tried to launch four missiles from near Eastern Motoyama, according to South Korea's ministry of defence, although this figure was later corrected to just the one missile.
But according to Kyodo News in Japan, the latest test by Pyongyang to show off its military might has failed.
US Pacific Commander David Benham: "US Pacific Command detected what we assess was a failed North Korean missile launch attempt the morning of March 22 in Korea (12.49pm Hawaii-time) in the vicinity of Kalma.”

South Korea's defence ministry also denounced the launch and said it was gathering more intelligence on incident.
The potential launch comes hours after the US warned Kim Jong-un was preparing for another missile onslaught.
White House press secretary Sean Spicer described North Korea as "grave and escalating" on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, a National Security Council official from the US told a nuclear conference the administration is carrying out a high-priority review of its policy towards Pyongyang.
The missile flop comes hours after North Korean government website Uriminzokkiri unveiled a twisted piece of propaganda which appeared to show a military strike on a US aircraft and another attack on a US bomber.
A voiceover on the chilling video gave the stern warning: “So pathetic. Nuclear aircraft carrier of the Sea is just a creature metamorphoses that would die with a dagger in its neck.
“B-1B of the sky is only a moth, that would fall by getting hit by a rain of fire.”
In 2013, the hermit nation released a similar video depicting an attack on the Capitol Hill.
