What does Nokia have planned for MWC 2017?
As Nokia moves in to a new Android-powered era, it seems that the company is also planning a major shakeup in terms of its device design.
The Nokia P1 will sport an all-metal body that is curved at the corners, similar to many leading Android devices around today.
The video also suggested that the device will sport a 5.3in display covered in Gorilla Glass 5, making it hopefully resistant to drops and spills, and come with IP57 dust and water-proof protection

The Nokia P1 looks to be particularly notable as it will be the first device from the company to run Android Nougat out of the box.
This means that users will be able to get all the latest features of Google’s Android software, including multi-windows apps, better battery life and security, and a whole host of new emoji.
As for cameras, the device will sport a Carl Zeiss-made 22.6MP rear camera, which would be one of the most powerful lenses around today.
Charging will be done via a USB-C port, but the device is also expected to sport a 3.5mm headphone jack, meaning there’s no following in Apple’s footsteps.
When it comes to hardware, the Nokia P1 is set to be the company’s most powerful device to date.
Reports have claimed the device is going to be sporting a Snapdragon 835 processor, which is currently the most powerful mobile processor available today.
This will be backed up by a massive 6GB of RAM – more than many laptops currently provide, and your choice of 128GB or 256GB storage – more than enough to keep thousands of photos.
This is all kept running by a huge 3,500mAh battery that should provide you with all-day battery life.
All in all, the Nokia P1 could offer quite a competitive package.

PRICE AND AVAILABILITY
Nokia is set to reveal all on its new smartphones at an event in Mobile World Congress 2017 in Barcelona on February 26th.
There’s no concrete information on the price of the new device just yet, but we’re expecting the cost to be around the likes of other Android flagship smartphones like the Samsung Galaxy S7.
That would suggest a price of around £500 for the 128GB version, and likely around £600 for the 256GB edition.
The leaked concept video for the Nokia P1 suggests multiple colour schemes, with black, silver and rose gold options displayed, which would also make sense.
