A refreshed and updated version of the iconic retro mobile phone is reportedly due to be revealed this weekend at Mobile World Congress as the company launches its big comeback.

What does Nokia have planned for MWC 2017?
Chinese technology site Vtech has published several claims about the new Nokia 3310, including hints as to exactly what the device will look like.
The source says that the refreshed Nokia 3310 will get a much-needed upgrade in terms of its screen and hardware, but still keep some of the original's retro charm.
The new Nokia 3310 will come with a slimmer and lighter body, thanks to replacing the original chunky plastic build with polymer or metal.
The device will keep its physical alphanumeric keyboard, but may need to adjust the size of the buttons in order to fit in with the new slimmer design.
Expect a whole range of colour for the new Nokia 3310
For phone fans looking for a bit more colour in their device, the new Nokia 3310 will also be available in a range of colour schemes, the source says.
This backs up earlier reports that showed the device keeping the multi-coloured design that made it so popular in its heyday.
Among the available choices will be red, green and yellow options, meaning you'll be able to pick out exactly the colour you want to accessorise with your life.
However as was revealed earlier this week, UK customers could be rather limited in how they get their hands on the device – with only one high street retailer set to stock the Nokia 3310.
But the screen of the Nokia 3310 will also get a welcome splash of colour as it receives a much needed upgrade.
As fitting the technology limits of the time, the original device had a small monochrome display, with green and black the only colours on offer.
Thankfully, this will not be the case, with the new device getting a much larger, full colour display.
However don't expect a high-resolution screen as seen on the latest Apple or Samsung devices, as Nokia will most likely be kept simple in order to save battery life.
Here are some of the other rumoured specifications for the new Nokia 3310
With Nokia's press event at Mobile World Congress just hours away, excitement is continuing to build for a new Nokia 3310.
The feature phone is set to be a wallet-friendly option to phone fans who feel owning a smartphone is an expensive necessity in 2017, with the device set to go on sale for around £49.
However Nokia is also set to reveal a number of other devices at MWC to go along with its retro model.
Top of the list is the flagship Nokia P1, set to be the company's most powerful device to date.
The flagship Nokia P1 is also expected to be revealed this weekend
The Nokia P1 is expected to ship with an all-metal unibody design, and a 5.3-inch display shielded by Gorilla Glass 5.
Inside, there will reportedly be a 22.6MP rear camera with a Carl Zeiss lens, as well as a hefty 3,500mAh battery and the latest Qualcomm processor.
And according to the latest rumours, the Nokia P1 will run the latest version of Google's Android 7.0 Nougat operating system out-of-the-box.
That means Nokia P1 owners will benefit from the latest software features, including split-screen apps, better battery life, new granular security settings, and a whole host of new emoji.
Express.co.uk will be at Nokia's launch event this weekend, so stay tuned for all the details.
