Noel Gallagher reportedly made an extremely generous gesture
It comes after the 50-year-old was branded a “sad f**k” by his brother Liam for not appearing at benefit concert.
After facing furious backlash from his sibling for missing the gig to go on a family holiday to Italy, sources have now claimed he was never approached to perform in the first place.
“Noel has been getting a real bashing for not being at the gig, which is totally out of order. He’s been hugely supportive of the cause but hasn’t gone public as, in his mind, it’s not about him,” a source told The Sun.
They added: “The fact he wasn’t asked to even perform at any point by any of the organisers makes a mockery of Liam’s claims.”
