Fans are currently waiting for a new update to fix a shader-loading problem on PC, which appears to be affecting a lot of fans.
“I sometimes experience extreme lag while the shaders are loading, but I simply ALT-F4 and start it again, until it stops lagging,” one fan commented.
“If it won't stop, I delete the SHADERCACHE folder, and start over. It usually doesn't take more than 0-3 tries before it loads without lagging.
“Keep in mind, it only ever needs to reload the SHADERCACHE once, except if you're modding the game.”

A new No Man’s Sky update is expected to launch in the near future, following the leaking of fresh content that looks set to be added to the game.
Days after the release of the Foundation update, fans discovered plans to release ground vehicles in a future patch.
Reddit user eegandj discovered a reference to a buggy in the game's files, but initially couldn't find an actual model.
After more digging around, the No Man's Sky fan then found nods to tire textures, before finally finding a way to see what the buggy might look like in the game.
And now it appears more evidence has been found after dataminers uncovered more details on how the new land vehicles will be unlocked.
According to new reports, ATV are set to be launched in No Man’s Sky, complete with an array of upgrades and weapons.
Mounted guns and vertical boosters will be part of the package, although fans will first have to master how to unlock the new gear.
This will involve some farming, building a terminal and hiring a mechanic, there will also be series of missions to complete so that you can gather the correct materials.
The new land vehicles will be fully upgradable via existing in-game components, which will allow you to add things like Jetpacks, better top-speed, storage and weapons system.
While Hello Games is yet to confirm the new vehicles, the studio's recent Foundation update was said to kickstart a wave of new features.

Astroneer is the Xbox One's answer to No Man's Sky
Nvidia recently announced that No Man’s Sky has been released on their Shield TV, and is available to play instantly on GeForce Now.
No Man’s Sky is a console exclusive game on PS4 and is not available to play on Xbox One.
Many Microsoft players were hoping to see something confirmed for the game, however, there have been no official announcements from Hello Games on the subject.
“Our version of the game is version 1.13, which is the most recent and includes the Foundation Update patch,” A Shield TV blog post explains.
“This patch adds many new features to the game, including Normal, Creative and Survival modes. Normal is described above, while Creative adds the ability to claim a home planet and build and design your own base. Survival mode ups the game’s difficulty factors to provide a more challenging endurance-style experience for diehard explorers.
“Other notable additions include the option to purchase massive, customizable, interstellar freighters, which you can then summon from anywhere in the galaxy and stockpile with valuable resources you discover to sell at trading posts.
