Nintendo Switch stock is still hard to come by for some
UPDATE ONE: Following the new Nintendo Switch Stock update for this weekend, new information has arrived regarding the console's current sales figures.
According to independent research group SuperData the hybrid gaming machine may have sold 2.4 million units worldwide in its first month.
There have bee various reports gobally on how many units have been shipped, however, Nintendo have yet to officially confirm it in total.
It should also be noted that this new information is based on SuperData's own modeling, so that should be taken into account.
The Japanese games giant recently confirmed that the console is now the fastest-selling console in the company's history.
These new numbers are a prelude to the company's next earnings briefing, which is scheduled for April 27 and will include worldwide numbers.
Nintendo also commented on the problems with Nintendo Switch stock, adding that "shipments have not yet been able to keep up with such high demand,” and that new systems are "continually being shipped."

While not the cheapest option at $444.99, it provides fans in the United States with a guaranteed unit, even though they may have to wait until the end of the month for their console.
Unlike last weekend, Toys R Us have not confirmed that all their stores are going to have stock in North America, however, they remain one of the best places to call up and ask.
In the UK, Toys R Us do have Nintendo Switch stock, although they may not offer it at every location.
Logging onto the official website will help you navigate how to grab a console, and they’re not the only option.
The official Nintendo UK site also has stock available, while Amazon are also listing new units which can be pre-purchased.

However, fans may have less luck at Argos this weekend, with the official site currently stating that there is no fresh stock updates.
It follows the news that the Nintendo Switch was the best selling console in the United States for March.
While it was expected to have had a big impact in its first month, new Nintendo Switch sales data revealed today confirms things are going better than expected.
And having hinted at impressive numbers in the past, Nintendo have new confirmed that they sold more than 906,000 units in the US during March.
If you factor in the idea that the Japanese games giant was aiming for 2m units to be produced and ready for launch month, selling half of that in one territory is a good sign.
According to data from the NPD Group, those numbers put the Nintendo Switch out ahead of both Sony’s PS4 and Microsoft’s Xbox One.

Balloon Fight on the NES
It follows news that the Nintendo Classic NES Mini is being discontinued, although the same hasn't been confirmed for the UK, as of yet.
A recently released statement from Nintendo only mentions North America, and also says that shipments are stopping for this year.
This suggests that the Nintendo Classic Mini NES could return in the future.
It's also possible that UK and European shipments could continue after April, but it seems unlikely.
Express Online has contacted Nintendo for clarification about the status of the Nintendo Classic Mini NES in the UK, and will update the article when we have more information.
Hopefully Nintendo will move on to the SNES Mini Classic, and actually produce enough units to satisfy demand.
The only places you're guaranteed to find the NES Mini right now is on eBay, at CEX or via Amazon third-party sellers. Unfortunately, however, prices have been greatly inflated.
