Nintendo Switch games launch lineup
Nintendo Switch games list has just expanded, as 2K Games gives NBA 2K18 a release date.
Previously without a release date, NBA 2K18 has been confirmed for the Nintendo Switch in September.
"NBA 2K18 – Nintendo Switch lands in the UK on March 3rd! We're excited to be bringing NBA 2K18 to Nintendo's latest console this September!" reads a 2K tweet.
It's possible third-party developers will have some surprises in store for launch, and fans can also expect a selection of Virtual Console releases.
The Nintendo Switch launch games lineup in full:
- 1-2-Switch – March 3
- The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild – March 3
- Skylanders Imaginators – March 3
- Just Dance 2017 – March 3

Nintendo Switch is available from March 3, complete with a £280 price tag. UK customers can pre-order the new Nintendo console now.
Blurring the line between handheld and home console, the screen includes capacitive multi-touch capabilities for compatible games, while battery life can last for more than six hours, but will vary depending on the software and usage conditions.
For example, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild can be played for roughly three hours on a single charge. While away from home, Nintendo Switch can be charged by plugging the AC adapter into the console’s USB Type-C connector.
The console will also boast 32GB of internal storage, this can be expanded using a microSDXC card, while The “game cards” drop into a slot at the top of the console.
The Joy-Cons, meanwhile, include an accelerometer and gyroscope motion sensor in both sets, making independent left and right motion control possible.
