Nintendo Switch fans are in store for a treat this month, as the company reveals its plans for E3 2017.
Two Nintendo Switch exclusives will take centre stage in a tournaments for both professional and amateur gamers.
The 2017 Splatoon 2 World Inkling Invitational will take place on June 13 at 10.30pm UK time.
"For the first time ever, competitors from four different global regions will compete for world dominance in Splatoon 2," reads a Nintendo statement.
This includes teams from the US, Japan, Europe and New Zealand/Australia.
"During the show in Los Angeles, teams will battle in a round-robin Turf War tournament that will decide seeding for the next round," the post continues.
"All teams will play one another and get a chance to scope out their opponents’ strengths and weaknesses. In the next round, teams will battle in the game’s Ranked Battle modes. The semi-final stage will be a best-of-five battle, while the championship will be best-of-seven."
This will be followed by the 2017 ARMS Open Invitational, which takes place at 11.30pm UK time on June 14.

The 2017 ARMS Open Invitational will pit four pro gamers from the fighting community against E3 attendees who qualify during the conference.
"The eight tournament participants will do battle until a champion emerges to win the coveted 2017 ARMS Open Invitational championship belt," Nintendo explains.

The tournament announcers include D1 and VikkiKitty, while the participants have been named as Street Fighter pro Alex Valle, as well as Smash Bros players Kelsy Medeiros, Daniel “Tafokints” Lee and Marie-Laure “Kayane” Norindr.
This year's E3 gaming expo could be a biggie for Nintendo, as the company rides high on Switch sales.
In fact, a Nintendo Switch exclusive game appears to have leaked in full ahead of E3 2017.
Just days after Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle art leaked online, new reports have shed some light on the campaign, playable characters and release date.
The latest leak suggests Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle will be revealed at E3 2017 ahead of an August or September release date.
The game is said to have a 20-hour campaign, two-person co-op and an Arena mode.
The campaign includes four themed worlds, as well as countless puzzle zones and secret areas.
It will reportedly feature eight different characters, each with their own special skills and upgradeable skill trees.
