Nigel Havers opens up about sex life: From 'wild orgies' to 'first class' mile-high romps
The actor also explained that during saucy film scenes he would give his co-stars a warning that they may get a surprise.
One such time was when he played Lewis Archer in Coronation Street and enjoyed a short-lived romance with Audrey Roberts (played by Sue Nicholls).
Speaking about preparing for intimate scenes with the actress on the ITV soap on Piers Morgan's Life Stories, he admitted he told her he "might get an erection".
He explained: "Sue is a very good kisser if I may say. She is the most wonderful woman.

"Roger Moore always told me that he would say to the girl before a sex scene, 'I want to apologise now if I get an erection'.
"Then he would say, 'And if I don't…' I said that to Sue, she laughed out of bed."
The star went on to reveal that he also had orgies at his parents' home at the age of 13. He admitted: "My parents had a flat they did not use.
