After he was pushed down the stairs by his nemesis Elly Conway (played by Jodi Anasta), viewers saw Finn (Rob Mills) receive a letter which suggested he had not fully recovered from his accident.
His mentor, Xanthe Canning (Lily Van der Meer) discovered he was suffering from a brain aneurism but promised to keep it secret.
Now it seems that his victims are putting pieces together after today's tense episode of Neighbours.
Finn's ex, Miranda, has realised something is wrong with the teacher, telling Elly that she had some doubts about his health.
Miranda told Elly that she has suspicions about Finn
She told a concerned Elly that Finn could be ill
Finn was always affectionate, but overnight that stopped
She explained: "He was always cagey about his work and cagey about a lot of things. That tendency has become more frequent now.
"About a year ago he changed. Despite our marriage troubles, Finn was always affectionate, but overnight that stopped.
"His whole personality changed and he became withdrawn and nasty. This was like he was on something and whatever it was made him go completely inside himself," Miranda explained.
Revealing that it must have been "something pretty big", did the accident make his existing brain aneurism worse?
