Viktoria Tautz has been jailed for four years for shaking a baby to death
Hungarian Viktoria Tautz, 34, wept in the dock as she was found guilty of manslaughter by a majority 10-2 verdict.
In a “moment of madness” she shook 10-month-old Joshua Paul so violently his brain bled and became swollen with bruising to his spinal cord, the Old Bailey heard.

Tautz, who was only partially qualified, was paid £3.60-an-hour to look after Joshua at his home in Wood Green, north London.
Parents Pearl Paul and Nirmal Vijayan left him “smiling and happy” in Tautz’s care on August 29, 2014.
Mrs Justice McGowan told Tautz: “You lost your temper or you were frustrated. I have no doubt at all it was just your way of trying to stop him crying or making him go to sleep.”
