The woman did not have a clue about 30-year-old Robert Wynn's sordid past
The woman did not have a clue about 30-year-old Robert Wynn's sordid past until they split up and she tried to find him on the internet.
She found out the man she met while playing on line games, who described himself as a normal man from Hull, had been jailed for sex offences three times.
She called in police – and now Wynn has been jailed for a fourth time after vile images of children were found on his mobile phone.
Six years ago, he was banned from having any contact with children under 16, without the informed consent of a parent or guardian.

But Hull Crown Court heard that on-line relationship between the woman and Wynn blossomed. She agreed to meet him at Hull railway station and invited him back for tea.
Prosecutor Phillip Evans said: "He disclosed he was a normal lad from Hull, and that attracted her because she had lived in Hull as a teenager."
Wynn gave his real name and age but failed to mention he had been jailed for 18 months in Scotland for nine sex offences included grooming, and distributing indecent photographs in 2008.
In 2011, he was jailed for two years at Hull for making and possessing indecent photos of children, extreme pornography, and breaching notification requirements as a sex offender.

He was made subject to a sexual offences prevention order for ten years, which he breached in 2014 and was jailed for another 16 weeks.
But despite the ban Wynn accepted the woman's invitations to picnics in a park, visits to the cinema, and a day at a museum.
Mr Evans said the mother was "keen to point out that the children only became involved when she was ready to introduce them to the defendant. She had no cause for concern."
The relationship had become intimate when Wynn suddenly announced he was ending it because he had been evicted from his home and was moving back to his parents.
The woman felt "gutted", but found out who she had been dating when she searched for him on Google and was "angry, upset and horrified".
