Relatives of Schumacher were rocked after the ex-F1 star suffered horrific head injuries after a skiing accident in the Alps in 2013.
Mystery has surrounded his health since the accident with his family keeping quiet over his recovery.
But friends of the seven-time F1 champion are still hopeful he might make a full recovery.
Last week former Ferrari boss Luca Cordero di Montezemolo said he dreams Schumacher “will soon be among us again”.

But Schumacher will be particularly affected by the death of “down to Earth” Karl-Heinz, who was said to be the favourite uncle.
The Ferrari ace was reportedly grateful to Karl-Heinz after taking care of his mother, Elisabeth, after the marriage of his parents failed.
He appeared to be in recovery after receiving two months of specialist rehabilitation and therapy.
But last year the disease returned and spread throughout his body.
