Josef Friztl believes that one day he could be freed from jail
The notorious pervert, now 82, imprisoned his daughter Elisabeth, now 51, in an underground dungeon beneath his house where he raped her more than 3,000 times in a case that sent shockwaves around the world
Fritzl fathered seven of her children and spun a series of lies to police and his wife, Rosemarie, that an 18-year-old Elisabeth had run away with a cult.
But in April 2008, his horrific antics were uncovered and a court in Austria jailed him for life in 2009, but with the possibility of parole in 15 years, according to reports.

In a new Channel 5 documentary, titled ‘Fritzl: What happened Next’, Mark Perry, who first broke the story and has remained in touch with the inmates’s solicitor, has revealed the Austrian still has dreams of walking free from prison one day.
Mr Perry said: “Fritzl is still in prison of course, and he still dreams of coming free.
“That’s what the solicitor told me. He still thinks he’ll come free one day, go fishing and, and carry on with life.”

[Fritzl had] no remorse. No compassion for his daughter
Last year Fritzl lost several of his teeth in a prison brawl after he got into a punch up with fellow inmates who had created an online dating profile in his name. [http://www.express.co.uk/news/world/652883/Pervert-Josef-Fritzl-loses-teeth-prison-fight-dating-website]
Speaking about Friztl’s four-day trial in 2009, Mr Perry said: “His eyes were cold and piercing. No remorse, no compassion, for anyone on earth but himself. No tears. Nothing.
“It was normal procedure. Just like he was going to the doctors or somewhere else… No remorse. No compassion for his daughter.
“No compassion for his grandchildren who are of course, his own children.”

Fritzl raised three of the children he fathered with Elisabeth in the house above her prison with his wife Rosemarie, who was unaware of what lay beneath her home.
The pervert masqueraded as the children's grandfather after he lied to his wife and said their daughter had abandoned them.
But Elisabeth’s horrific ordeal was uncovered after her 19-year-old incest daughter Kerstin became very ill and was taken to hospital.
While receiving medical attention she revealed her harrowing story with police and medics.

Speaking about Elisabeth, Mr Perry said: “She must be a brave woman, a strong woman. I think she lived for her own children.
“That’s what kept her and let her not surrender. I think that was the thing.”
Fritzl was found guilty in 2009 of murder over the death of one of Elisabeth's babies, as well as incest, sequestration and 3,000 counts of rape.
Mr Perry added: “The best solution, I think, is leave them in peace. Let the little children who, who will be grown up now – actually, teenagers – let them live their life in peace.
“[The] big impact of course on their little souls and hopefully they’ll grow up to live a life as normal human beings and put their granddad behind them.
“Perhaps visit him, perhaps being told once later in life… but of course I don’t think Fritzl will live to see them.”
